John Bee – Trailer Nomads Website Design (2011)
“I needed a travel blog set up for me that looked professional but would not cost me a kings ransom to build; PLUS one that I could manage myself easily. I had several websites set up by a techie web-master using the standard HTML method and I have been trying to manage them myself using initially Adobe GoLive and now Adobe Dreamweaver. I continuously mess things up and have to pay my techie to straighten it all out. I felt I was a slave to both the soft-ware and the web-master who set them up for me.
My computer-savvy fiends told me that word-press was the way to go these days to set up a site; – and it can be managed easily, and be accessed AND edited live on-line.
I saw an ad by Eri to teach Word-press and a very reasonable price. I contacted him for an initial session. In the meantime I did my homework on WordPress and decided to get a wordpress theme and edit it myself to give me the site I wanted. I also got estimates from both local and overseas IT specialists to set the site up for me in wordpress and train me how to manage it.
Well, to cut a long story short, I ended up contracting Eri to set it up professionally for me AND train me how to mange/edit it easily myself. All I can say is that he did a fabulous job on both counts and I am delighted with the results and how easily I can run it all my-self, including editing. The training provided (excellent videos using my actual site) and the follow-on back-up support provided in the package was much cheaper AND much better than any others quoted. Thanks Eri, I highly recommend you and your very professional talents to anyone.”
