Guest Posting is cool. You can get great exposure writing on other bloggers websites, for yourself and your business. Some websites really want Guest Bloggers – and not just good ones, but experienced ones who understand the art of blogging. They want them so badly they are willing to pay – actual money.
Feel free to visit my previous blog, Why Guest Posting is Cool for more information on guest posting in general.
With some quick browsing, I have uncovered 7 websites, where if you are looking to make some money blogging, it is actually possible.

@Erjon Mehmeti, Obviously they won’t take any old article, but I do think you need some skills as a blogger to get paid for your words. Looks like some nice opportunities there

You should have added me to the list, I will be taking on new Guest Bloggers on my site (Paid) in order to get ready for the release of “Intense Business” where I will be inviting the best business writers and small business owners to write as well.
Nice list, I didn’t know some of those sites paid to guest post. All though I’ve never guest posted before, maybe I can do that in the future.

Thanks again Fiona… as usual… you’re right on top of things.

It’s terrific to know that passionate, experienced bloggers can actually make some real money by guest posting. And leave it to YOU to blog about the fabulous resources people can check out if they’re interested.
Just curious, Fiona …
You’re such a top notch, expert blogger – have you ever been employed to do guest posts?
Thanks for another amazing post,
Melanie

@Melanie Kissell, I know some bloggers feel like they are working for free – they spend hours researching and writing, and normally the best they expect is a few comments and tweets. I think more bloggers should be paid. It really is an awesome skill to have. It’s so different to any other writing.
No, I haven’t yet been employed to do a guest post, but I was offered… So I might get back to that particular site about that…
I’m happy to hear you liked the post
Never realized you can get paid to guest blog – neat idea! Will add that to my list of future thingees to do, thanks for the headsup.

Thanks for this informative post, Fiona. It reminded me immediately of an e-book I purchased at the end of 2008 when I first started online and one of the ways suggested to make money online was through Guest Blogging on sites that paid you to do this. Frankly, there are so many things to keep up with that I forgot about it and never did further research.
You have done a superb job of researching these sites and presenting the information. Thanks for doing that for the rest of us. Have a great day!

Fiona, I’m a first-time visitor to your site from Cleveland. I learned of your blog through “Extreme John” and decided to check it out. And I’m glad I did. This is extremely informational.
As far as blogging, I’m still learning. LOL. But let the record reflect that I offered Guest Posts on my blog before anyone else and consider myself a pioneer in that area.

Thank you for letting me know how you found our blog. John has an awesome website, and I’m a frequent reader of his blog, so I’m very pleased to be associated with his site.
I think, as bloggers, we have no choice but to always be learning
Every day/ week there is a new resource, stat tracking tool, social media network, new feature, new upgrade, and you can always tell when you visit a blog and they don’t seem to stay abreast.
Thanks for sharing and stopping by.
You could have added Shoutmeloud.com , it has been providing revenue sharing for a long time.
BTW, great compilation.
Looks like time to make some money, hehe.

Fiona,
You have put up a lot of effort here to compile such a decent list. I never knew we can make decent money by guest blogging. I know a bit that people used to get conversions to their own sites by guest blogging on popular sites like Technorati or CNN as guest bloggers,But this stuff is pretty good for freelance writers….(People like me)
Thanks

Without blogging people can make some decent money doing “writing” for sites like Helium and AssociatedContent, A/C can pay between $1 and $3 per 400 word article you write for them if you write decent articles, at say 5 articles per day for 30 days straight this could be over $300 per month pretty easy plus you earn $1.00 for every 1000 pageviews on each article.
I use it as a supplement income program and A/C works very well, anyone can sign up and submit articles.

I know. Coming up with original content stalwarts my guest blogging efforts a lot of the times, but when in doubt of getting ideas to write good content, I just go over to Brian Clark’s CopyBlogger and check out his Content Marketing 101 tab. He’s got good ideas in there.
